​​PROJECT GOAL: 

​The main purpose of this project is to economically empower women and girls living with HIV/AIDS while reducing attitudes, practices and behaviours that perpetuate Gender Based Violence (GBV).

​OBJECTIVES:

  • Objective 1: To create an enabling environment for preventing gender based violence.
  • ​Objective 2: To help survivors of violence seek redress.
  • Objective 3: To help women to develop high self-esteem and instill leadership skills to facilitate women’s empowerment.
  • Objective 4: To promote women’s economic empowerment and autonomy.
  • Objective 5: To monitor the progress of the project and mentor community structures towards achieving project objectives
  • Objective 6: The procured items will facilitate smooth implementation of the project


women’s rights. The project also aims to improve the quality of life for people living with HIV (PLWHA) in Malawi through the engagement of duty bearers and building the capacity of rights holders.​​
